Naomi has experience in advising clients in a range of energy and infrastructure estate matters for a variety of different clients including wind and solar developments, battery storage projects and linear cables and pipelines route. This includes both onshore and offshore property work, freehold acquisitions and disposals, and landlord and tenant transactions.

Examples of her experience include:

  • Leading on the project for the acquisition of the land rights for The North Lincolnshire Green Energy Park, which includes the preparation and negotiation of freehold transfers, option agreements and deeds of grants for extensive categories of rights including for a local district heat network, new roadways and biodiversity net gain requirements.
  • E.On in relation to the Rampion offshore windfarm project which included the project management to see over 30 leases and numerous other ancillary documents such as environmental mitigation agreements to be completed across the onshore cable route
  • ScottishPower Renewables on the land acquisition for numerous solar and co-location projects, including site due diligence, negotiation of options and leases and ongoing support during option periods
  • RWE on the early land strategy for the onshore cable route for the Dogger Bank South East and Dogger Bank South West
  • Acting for Renewable Energy Systems and Belltown Energy on their onshore wind farm land acquisitions for multi landowner sites
  • The Crown Estate on a variety of real estate matters including the drafting and negotiation of leases, licences and deeds of grants in connection with offshore electricity interconnectors, telecoms cables and pipelines.
