Lizhi Chen represents domestic and international clients in a broad range of capital markets and M&A transactions, including U.S. initial public offerings (IPOs), SPAC and de-SPAC transactions, shelf offerings, private placements, going-private transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and securities regulatory compliance matters. She has extensive experience advising issuers, underwriters, investors, and other market participants, as well as drafting prospectuses, SEC filings, and complex transaction documents.
In addition to her transactional practice, Lizhi serves as an arbitrator and mediator with the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission in Guangzhou, China, where she has substantial experience handling and resolving commercial disputes. She also serves as Secretary-General of both the CIMAI Hong Kong International Arbitration and Mediation Institute Limited and the China-ASEAN (Macao) Arbitration Association.
Lizhi is also an adjunct mentor at the School of Law of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in China and is a frequent lecturer and speaker on capital markets, cross-border investments, corporate governance, and international dispute resolution.
