John Wright is a member of the firm’s Patent Prosecution & Litigation group where he assists clients with the protection and enforcement of their various intellectual property rights.  John is a registered patent attorney and has full-spectrum litigation experience in the litigation of patents, copyrights and trade secrets in both district courts and before the International Trade Commission (“ITC”).  

John has successfully represented a variety of clients in actions concerning a wide-range of technologies including consumer electronics, semiconductor technologies, novel software designs, pharmaceutical drugs, therapeutic antibodies, and various other cutting-edge technologies.  John commonly litigates in the Eastern District of Texas, the District of Delaware, the Eastern District of North Carolina, and the Northern District of Illinois, but has represented clients in various districts across the United States. Additionally, John has substantial experience representing clients before the International Trade Commission and has assisted clients as both complainants and respondents in Section 337 investigations before the Commission, consistently obtaining favorable results.

John also counsels clients on intellectual property issues associated with mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and complex licensing transactions.
