Gina Seong advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies as well as public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, investments, divestitures, and other significant corporate transactions. She also counsels clients on corporate governance and general business matters. With more than a decade of experience, Gina brings a commercially grounded and practical perspective to her clients’ most important matters.
Her background includes practicing at nationally and internationally recognized law firms and in a director-level role at a global professional services organization. Prior to her legal career, she held a leadership position at a foreign exchange brokerage based in New York City, overseeing institutional client relationships and cross-border teams.
Fluent in Korean and having lived in South Korea, France and the United States, Gina offers a culturally competent and an internationally informed perspective on all of her matters. She also maintains an active pro bono practice, advising nonprofit organizations and representing underprivileged women in immigration and family law matters.
