Emma is a member of the WBD InHouse team, which provides affordable, scalable in-house legal services to clients. She is a generalist commercial lawyer approaching six years’ post-qualification experience, with a background spanning both private practice and in-house roles.
Emma trained in private practice before moving into a variety of in-house legal roles within the e-commerce retail and luxury travel sectors. She also spent a period working in Australia, where she supported a private equity client firm on a range of commercial and transactional matters. Her experience across diverse industries and jurisdictions has equipped her with a broad commercial skillset and a flexible, solutions-focused approach.
Emma regularly advises clients on a wide range of commercial legal issues, including the drafting and negotiation of contracts for the supply of goods and services, technology and outsourcing arrangements, and strategic commercial partnerships. She is valued by clients for her pragmatic, commercially-minded advice and her ability to quickly integrate into different business environments.
Most recently, Emma has supported clients through secondments and project-based work, helping them to navigate complex commercial challenges and deliver business objectives efficiently.
