Dibora L. Berhanu

Dibora Berhanu is Of Counsel in the firm's Litigation Practice Group. Dibora focuses her practice on a broad range of commercial litigation matters involving contract disputes, business torts, bankruptcy‑related litigation, product defect, and insurance defense.

Dibora has experience handling all stages of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, and resolution. She brings a strategic and pragmatic approach to litigation, with an emphasis on managing risk and achieving efficient, business‑focused outcomes for her clients.

Prior to joining Womble, Dibora practiced at a Chicago‑based law firm, where she gained experience in high‑exposure insurance coverage analysis and insurance coverage litigation. Her prior practice also included employment discrimination, retaliation claims, and employment‑based immigration matters.

Outside of her practice, Dibora enjoys traveling, all things Chicago, country music, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends.
