Shann is an attorney in the Mass Torts Group. Her practice focuses on all aspects of the EDiscovery process, including early case assessment, collection and culling of documents, production of documents in large scale litigation, managing document and e-discovery review projects and providing day-to-day supervision of attorneys and paralegals engaged in document and e-discovery review. Shann has nearly 20 years of experience in litigation discovery and applies the most cost-effective methodologies to a broad range of discovery projects, including product liability litigation, government investigations, employment litigation, internal investigations, patent litigation and anti-trust litigation.

Shann’s prior experience includes teaching law as Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of the Research and Writing Program at the University of North Carolina School of Law (1983- 1992), and serving as law clerk to the Honorable Willis Whichard of the North Carolina Court of Appeals (1982-1988).
