Charlie specialises in regulatory and commercial issues arising in relation to energy projects. Since joining the Energy & Utilities team in 2021, Charlie has advised a range of clients, including some of the UK's leading developers, on the financing and development of offshore and onshore renewable electricity projects. He also advises on a wide range of issues across the electricity industry, including on financial support mechanisms, compliance with licences and industry documents, networks issues and trading arrangements.
On qualification, Charlie spent six months on secondment to one of the "big six" UK energy suppliers, where he advised on supply and services agreements with key commercial partners, as well as amends to the terms of electricity supply contracts required as a result of changes to the regulatory framework.
