Beate is an Associate in the Banking team. She advises a wide range of borrowers and lenders on Scottish, UK and cross-border financing transactions (including corporate borrowers, banks, funds, investors, and other lenders).
Her experience includes real estate finance (investment and development), corporate lending, acquisition finance, asset-based lending, securitisation, debt trading, debt portfolio transfers, loan note and bond issues, and restructuring.
Beate has a lot of experience working alongside City and overseas firms in banking and funds finance transactions and on the use of Scottish limited partnerships in private fund structures (including the establishment, operation, closings, and dissolution of funds).
She is a native German speaker and has a German law degree. She also has a Masters in Laws from Trinity College Dublin (including EU Banking & Securities Law and EU Financial Services Law). She is a registered Notary Public in Scotland.
Beate is a Member of the Regional Committee for Scotland & North of England of the British Chamber of Commerce in Germany. She is listed by the German Consulate General in Edinburgh as German speaking Solicitor and Notary Public in Scotland.
