Andrew Jacobsohn’s practice spans commercial litigation and intellectual property. Drawing on prior in-house experience at a major technology company, Andrew brings a practical, client-centered perspective to every engagement—understanding not only what the law requires but what clients need from their outside counsel.

Andrew is a versatile litigator who handles a broad range of complex commercial disputes, including matters involving corporate governance, commercial torts, contract disputes, real estate, construction, and intellectual property. He has experience in all phases of litigation, from case assessment and discovery through depositions, expert witness practice, summary judgment, mediation, settlement, and trial. He has served as lead attorney on matters in both state and federal court, managing client relationships, case strategy, and day-to-day litigation.

In addition to his litigation practice, Andrew helps a diverse group of clients build, protect, and manage their intellectual property portfolios. He counsels clients on trademark clearance, registration, enforcement, licensing, and assignment, and has represented clients in proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He also handles IP litigation involving the protection and enforcement of brand rights, including actions against counterfeiters and defense of infringement claims.

Andrew is committed to pro bono service. He has obtained significant restitution awards on behalf of victims of human trafficking, working in collaboration with nationally recognized practitioners in this area.
