Abi Prabakar is a litigator with experience across employment law, business immigration, and financial services matters. She represents employers in a broad range of employment matters and advocates for businesses in class actions. She also brings a cross-disciplinary perspective shaped by her work in immigration law and her prior representation of individuals and businesses in immigration matters across the country.
Abi also represents financial institutions and auto finance companies in consumer finance litigation, including matters involving the Electronic Funds Transfer Act (Reg E), Fair Credit Reporting Act, and a wide array of other federal and state laws regulating financial institutions. Her litigation experience spans state and federal courts as well as arbitration forums.
With a versatile background that bridges employment, immigration, and financial services, Abi brings a practical, people-focused approach to her practice. She combines strategic legal analysis with an ability to navigate the human dynamics that often drive conflict and provides clients with cross-disciplinary guidance on regulatory compliance, and litigation risk.
