Michael Adams is a registered patent agent with substantial experience in U.S. and international patent prosecution, patent application drafting, and global portfolio management. His practice includes preparing novelty and freedom-to-operate analyses, responding to office actions, conducting examiner interviews, and developing patentability reports and strategy recommendations.

His technical background spans a wide range of chemical and life sciences technologies, including oil and gas, pharmaceuticals and small molecule chemistry, polymers, catalysis, analytical chemistry, biotechnology, biochemistry, food science, quality control, and certain mechanical subject matter. He has particular experience supporting oil and gas and pharmaceutical patent portfolios and drafting applications across complex scientific disciplines.

In addition to his patent prosecution experience, Michael brings significant industry experience in laboratory management, quality assurance and quality control leadership, synthetic chemistry, method development, characterization, and manufacturing support. He has led analytical teams, directed QA/QC functions across multiple manufacturing sites, and worked extensively in custom organic synthesis.
