Satchel Fowler focuses his practice on complex litigation.  He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation across a wide array of subject matters, from commercial disputes, employment, and healthcare liability to litigation arising under various federal statutes, such as the False Claims Act, Section 1983 (civil rights), the Securities Exchange Act, and civil RICO.  He also represents criminal defendants.

Prior to joining Womble Bond Dickinson, Satchel served as a judicial law clerk for Judge Greg Stivers of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky and Judge Thomas Brothers of the Davidson County Circuit Court in Nashville, Tennessee. His work during these clerkships gave him valuable insight into trial strategy, judicial decision-making, and case management across a wide range of civil and criminal matters.
