Will Katzen is a member of the firm’s Finance team. He represents a variety of financial institutions and lenders across diverse asset classes in equipment and syndicated finance transactions. He also assists financial institutions with non-disclosure agreements in connection with leveraged financings, equity capital markets, and sell-side mergers and acquisitions.
He also has diverse experience in securities, antitrust, regulatory compliance, and education law. Before joining the firm, he worked as a Legal Extern at the Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) in Washington, DC. In this role, he attended meetings with SIFMA's members, collaborated with Cleary Gottlieb attorneys to draft market-standard documentation, summarized issues from comment letters for asset managers, and reviewed CFTC and SEC rules for compliance schedules. Prior to that, Will served as a Legal Extern at the Maryland Office of the Attorney General (Antitrust Division) in Baltimore, MD. During this time, he conducted legal research, prepared memos on enforcement powers, reported on antitrust proceedings to division leaders, monitored state antitrust statutes, and drafted legislation. Will also worked on compliance matters at White and Williams LLP and Franklin & Marshall College's Office of the General Counsel.
