Audrey Karman is a member of the firm's White Collar Defense, Investigations, and Regulatory Enforcement practice. She advises multinational clients across a broad range of industries on the complexities and risks associated with operating in matrixed business environments. Having spent time both in-house and in private practice, she has extensive experience designing, implementing, enhancing, and testing enterprise-wide anti-corruption and anti-bribery programs, as well as conducting anti-corruption due diligence on third party commercial partners and M&A transactions. She regularly assists clients to identify potential gaps in their compliance programs and proactively find solutions to address those gaps in order to help mitigate risk exposure.
Her practice extends to assisting clients with performing global risk assessments as well as guiding clients through post-resolution compliance obligations, including serving clients through multi-year corporate monitorships. With a strong focus on helping clients develop robust internal controls and processes that are tailored to the company’s unique risk profile and specific needs, Audrey ensures comprehensive coverage of all bribery and corruption risks, such as critical interactions with government officials, third party intermediary engagement, offset requirements, customer and supplier relationships, as well as expansion in high-risk markets.
