The Scottish legal profession will have a formal presence at Pride Edinburgh this year for the first time.
Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) is partnering with The Glass Network to attend Pride Edinburgh on Saturday 16 June 2018. This is the first time the Scottish legal profession has visibly participated in an LGBT+ Pride March.
Philip Knight, Managing Associate in Dispute Resolution, comments:
"We are delighted to be hosting a Pre-Pride Celebration Brunch for LGBT+ this year. In a traditional and conservative profession such as ours, the presence and contribution of LGBT+ people have rarely been recognised. Our proud participation in Edinburgh's LGBT+ Pride March on Saturday 16 June 2018 will be the first time the Scottish legal profession comes together to share our pride, demonstrating support to our colleagues and understanding to the clients we serve."
WBD and The Glass Network are hosting the Pride Brunch with coffee, tea and morning pastries which will take place at Holyrood 9A on Saturday 16 June 2018 from 9.30am to 11.00am; before joining the public Pride celebrations outside the Scottish Parliament.
