As part of IP Palooza, hosted by the Raleigh-Triangle Area Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel, Womble Bond Dickinson attorneys Taylor Ey and Nadia Aram will discuss best practices for contractually protecting IP assets. These assets include software, databases, data more generally, a consultant’s tools of the trade, companies’ basic marketing materials and website, and licensed materials (whether covered by patents, copyrights or trademarks). Scott Reid of Lenovo and Andy Knowles of GSK will also join Ey and Aram.

The presentation will also address the ambiguities and gaps often seen across industries, clients, and targets being acquired by clients. Other takeaways will include strategies to paper up and avoid common pitfalls. IP Palooza takes place on February 8th.
