Womble Bond Dickinson will continue its strong and long-running partnership with the Minority Corporate Counsel Association this month, as a delegation of firm attorneys will represent Womble Bond Dickinson at the annual MCCA Creating Pathways to Diversity Conference.
In addition, attorney Kevin Lyn, the Chair of Womble Bond Dickinson’s Diversity Committee and a member of MCCA’s N-Gen Advisory Board, has been named to the Pathways Advisory Council. The N-Gen Advisory Board is comprised of dynamic general counsel of small public companies, division or deputy general counsels of large companies and law firm partners who have demonstrated commitment to improving diversity and inclusion within their own organizations. The board helps MCCA drive the conversation to inspire change in the legal profession through programs, networking and education.
Lyn will join Womble Bond Dickinson team members Bryant Caldwell, Tara Cho, Sonny Haynes, Toni Peck, and Karthika Perumal in attending MCCA’s Creating Pathways to Diversity Conference.
The Creating Pathways to Diversity Conference focuses on global diversity and inclusion, talent optimization, inclusive leadership and management to bolster the promotion and retention of diverse attorneys. The program offers practical development tools, best practices and resources for individual lawyers and organizations. The 2020 conference will be held virtually and takes place Oct. 20 and 27.
