Womble Bond Dickinson Partner Alan Enslen was a speaker at the Lex Mundi Sanctions Seminar, which took place June 30. The seminar focused on trending issues and common factors in economic and trade sanctions around the globe. These issues are particularly relevant in light of sanctions levied against Russia following its invasion of Ukraine.

Enslen provided a general economic sanctions overview and primer, as well as discussing certain U.S. sanctions programs. The seminar also included a series of country-specific presentations focused on the UK, China, European Union and Venezuela.

The Lex Mundi Sanctions Seminar was organized by the Lex Mundi Cross Border Investigations Practice Group, which is chaired by Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Claire Rauscher. More than 100 attorneys attended the presentation.
