On October 19, Womble Bond Dickinson Partner Dr. Christian Mammen will be the featured speaker for the University of Oxford Intellectual Property Research Centre (OIPRC) Invited Speaker Series in London. Mammen’s presentation, “Generative AI and Copyright: Protection and Infringement of Inputs to and Outputs from the “Black Box”, will discuss recent copyright-related questions following the rapid growth of generative artificial intelligence (AI) platforms in recent months. Mammen will share key considerations to answering these questions, including the intersection of copyright law and economic policy, the future and pace of innovation, and the competing visions regarding the future with AI.
