Womble Bond Dickinson welcomed clients and guests for an open house and tour of the firm’s new reimagined office space overlooking K Street in Washington, D.C., followed by a panel discussion on "Global Supply Chain Challenges & Solutions.”

The Global Supply Chain Panel featured both Womble Bond Dickinson attorneys who regularly advise clients on supply chain needs as well as top-level executives from corporations dealing with these issues. The event took place on September 29 in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

The discussion began with a look at the current landscape of the global supply chain and the many challenges companies now are facing. The conversation then pivoted to possible solutions and best practices, including compliance and trade issues, export controls, near shoring, data analytics, and technology and logistics solutions.

The panel featured WBD Partners Alan Enslen and John Scannapieco, Mitsui & Co. (U.S.A.), Inc. VP & General Manager Mike Fedele, and V. Alexander & Co., Inc. Chief Operating Officer Chris Schmid.  Elizabeth Lee, WBD’s Washington, D.C. Office Managing Partner, gave welcome remarks.

Following the discussion, attendees enjoyed a rooftop reception overlooking the D.C. skyline.
