SAN FRANCISCO—Womble Bond Dickinson’s Impact Business Group are well-represented at #SOCAP18 , as attorney and Impact Business Group Leader Pam Rothenberg and Director of Impact Strategies Mark Newberg both are speaking at the conference.

Rothenberg and Newberg are speakers in a workshop titled “Make It Happen: How to Effectively Invest for Impact”. This interactive workshop discusses the tools needed to invest in the impact economy, including a practical framework for evaluating opportunities, examine concrete case studies, and explore innovations in the impact space.

Joining Rothenberg and Newberg are Julia Sze, Founder of Julia Sze Consulting, and Emily Winslow, CEO of Peak Impact Consulting.

Rothenberg also will speak in a session on “Cracking the Code on Workforce Housing” . In many markets, working families have been priced out of housing, which negatively impacts communities.

Rothenberg will be joined Deborah Campbell, VP-Capital Initiatives at Community Housing Capital; Jim Cauley, President of Motive Investment Partners; and Richard Hannum, CEO of Forge Land Company.

In addition, Newberg will be a speaker at the Oct. 24 Afternoon Mainstage discussion . This session will discuss the impact economy increasingly becoming mainstream, with major financial institutions making prominent commitments to impact.

He leads the firm’s Impact and ESG-focused strategic consulting work, building on his decade of experience at the leading edge of the Impact Economy.
