Womble Bond Dickinson Partners Tara Gorman and Dan Orvin were speakers at the 35th Annual Real Property Trust and Estate Law (RPTE) National CLE Conference, which took place May 10-12 in Washington D.C.

Gorman served as program chair and speaker for a session on “Recent Legal Trends and Developments In the Hospitality Industry.” 

The panel discussion examined legal trends impacting the hospitality industry, including environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards; the industry’s response to the current economic environment; employment law changes; and recent litigation developments.

Orvin was a speaker in a panel discussion titled, “Mentoring—Helping Good Get to Great.” The session focused on the importance of mentoring in the legal profession and addresses such topics as:

  • How to structure an effective mentoring relationship;
  • How a successful mentoring relationship can advance diversity, equity, and inclusion; and
  • How to avoid common roadblocks.

The conference was presented by the American Bar Association’s Real Property Trust and Estate Law Section.
