Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Kevin Lyn has been appointed to the Board of Governors for the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA). Lyn will serve a one-year term as an at-large board member.

NAPABA is the nation’s largest Asian Pacific American membership organization representing the interest of 60,000 attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students. As the national voice for the Asian Pacific American legal profession, NAPABA fosters professional development, legal scholarship, advocacy, and community involvement. In addition, NAPABA promotes justice, equity, and opportunity for Asian Pacific Americans.

Earlier this year, Lyn was appointed to the inaugural NAPABA Advisory Board—a seven-member board that advises NAPABA’s Board of Governors on critical business and legal issues.

Lyn is a registered patent attorney and licensed Professional Engineer who helps global companies protect and maximize their product innovations and achieve their business goals. He leads Womble Bond Dickinson’s (US) Mechanical Patent Team within the firm’s Intellectual Property Group.

He also recently completed a multi-year term as Chair of Womble Bond Dickinson’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.
