Womble Carlyle will host the Association of Corporate Counsel National Capital Region Career Development Forum Women’s Reception and Program. The program is titled, “Women Lawyers - Leaning In, Leaning On, and Standing On Their Own Two Feet.” Nancy Laben, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Booz Allen Hamilton, will be the keynote speaker for the event.
The Wednesday, July 22nd networking event starts at 5 pm and takes place at Womble Carlyle’s Washington, DC office.
Laben will discuss how female attorneys, who often balance additional challenges and pressures, can follow different paths to success in the legal profession. She will also talk about ways women attorneys – whether as managers or mentors – can help others achieve success in their legal careers.
