CHARLESTON, S.C.—Congratulations to Med-Ally! The Womble Bond Dickinson client and personalized health solutions company is building a new, 10,000-square-foot manufacturing operation in Berkeley County, creating 90 additional jobs. The project represents a $2.5 million investment.

A Womble Bond Dickinson team led by Stephanie Yarbrough and including Kevin Trempe, Brandy Davis and Denise Herlihy represented Med-Ally in economic development and real estate matters. The team worked closely with the South Carolina Department of Commerce, Berkeley County’s leadership and the Charleston Regional Development Alliance. 

South Carolina Gov. Med-Ally is an innovative design, development and manufacturing company specializing in active implantable medical systems. The company has designed and developed its VersaStim® neuromodulation platform technology that can treat patients with various movement disorders, spinal cord injury, chronic pain and traumatic brain injuries. The VersaStim® technology platform is available in external and implantable systems for clinicians to maximize therapy effectiveness and improve patient outcomes.
