The International Trademark Association’s 2024 Annual Meeting took place May 19-22 in Atlanta, and Womble Bond Dickinson was heavily involved in the event. Then, on May 20, the firm hosted “A Taste of GA Backyard BBQ” on the terrace of our new office space. More than 200 guests, dressed in sophisticated casual BBQ garb, enjoyed Georgia-inspired cuisine, live music, libations (with such names as “Old Fashioned Infringement” and “Trademark-Worthy Ranch Water”) and an on-site photo spot.
In addition, Jake Wharton moderated a panel discussion on “The Intersection of Branding and Indigenous Rights: A Stakeholder Panel Discussion” at the INTA Annual Meeting.
Members of Womble’s Trademarks, Copyrights, Privacy and Transactions Practice Group also held a meeting while in town for INTA.
More than 10,000 trademark, licensing, and IP professionals from around the world gathered in Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress Center for the INTA’s 146th Annual Meeting.
