Womble Bond Dickinson to Host “Where is the Federal Government Spending Our Money? Opportunities, Partnering, and More!” Workshop in NoVa

Womble Bond Dickinson will host an insightful afternoon discussion on 2024 trends in federal contracting. This two-part event, titled “Where is the Federal Government Spending Our Money? Opportunities, Partnering, and More!” is scheduled for Thursday, March 7 and is being hosted by Womble Partner Cherylyn Harley LeBon.

In the first panel, “Where is the Money? 2024 Trends and Opportunities”, industry leaders will examine the current landscape of federal spending. Panelists will include Blake Harvey, VP of Growth at Red Team Consulting, Jon Raviv, Managing Director, Aerospace & Defense at Capital One, and Calvin Mitchell, Deputy Assistant Secretary (Acquisitions, Grants, and Risk Management) of the Department of Education. This panel will be moderated by Womble Partner Cherylyn Harley LeBon.

The second panel discussion, “You’ve Got the Money – How to Spend it? Leveraging Partnerships and Internal Resources”, will feature Ronnette Myers, CEO of JLAN Solutions, Mike Mardesich, Director at Forvis, and Teresa Moon, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Parabilis. The discussion will be moderated by Stephanie Alexander, Co-Founder of govmates and CEO of BOOST. This panel will focus on optimizing partnerships and resources for effective management and expenditure of federal contracts.

The panel discussions will run from 3:00-4:00 p.m., followed by a reception until 6:00 p.m. This event will be hosted at Womble Bond Dickinson's Tysons, Va. office.
