Triangle Offices Participate in 2025 Habitat Build

The Raleigh and RTP offices teamed up to support Habitat for Humanity of Wake County in a team building day on Saturday, March 15, 2025. A big shoutout to our amazing Womble volunteers who showed up with enthusiasm and dedication, including Maryam Allen, Laina Balafas, Zach Bernstein, Zach Buckheit, Mark DeLuca, Jennifer Distefano, Sheila Evans, Paul Fogleman, Victoria Grieshammer, Beth and Barry Jones, Jordan Love, Preston Mitchell, Jon Mize, Fred Rom, Trevor Tomlinson, Tracey Wright and Ting Zheng. Womble attorneys were also joined by John Giuffre from Carter Bank & Trust. Each volunteer made a significant impact and represented our offices admirably!

Jon Mize, Managing Partner of the two Triangle offices had this to say about the build day: 

“What a great day with our friends at Habitat for Humanity of Wake County!  Womble has a long history of service with Habitat for Humanity of Wake County -- from serving on its Board to providing pro bono representation to swinging hammers and painting walls.  We are always thrilled to support an organization like Habitat doing good work in our Triangle community.”

Beth Jones is currently serving as the Chair for the Board of Directors of Habitat of Humanity of Wake County.  Paul Fogleman, Mike Choy, Larry Moye, Richard Prosser, Anne Bailey, along with their team members Michele Burgos, Marianne Frati, and Jordan Love, provide pro bono representation for Habitat.  Their work has covered various areas such as acquisitions of land for residential development, loan modifications, corporate matters, and the ultimate sales of homes to Habitat program participants.
