Women lawyers have made great strides over the past few decades, but the legal profession, like many other professions, has not dismantled the obstacles that impact women. Womble Bond Dickinson Partner Tara Cho has contributed a personal essay about her professional journey to a new American Bar Association publication.

Her Story: The Resilient Woman Lawyer's Guide to Conquering Obstacles, Book 2, the second book by the ABA Litigation Section's Woman Advocate Committee and the sequel to Her Story: Lessons in Success from Lawyers Who Live It, is a collection of essays that tell women attorneys that they are not alone, that there is a sisterhood in the legal profession that supports them, and that they can learn from one another and lift up others who share their experiences.

Cho contributed an essay titled, “Getting Out of the Box (No Matter How We Got In)”. Her essay recently received coverage in the National Law Journal

Cho chairs Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP's Privacy and Cybersecurity Team in Raleigh. Her practice is dedicated to counseling clients on privacy and data security issues across industries such as technology, retail, e-commerce, healthcare, health-tech, and life sciences.
