CHARLOTTE, NC—Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Claire Rauscher is the new Chair of the Charlotte Ballet’s Board of Trustees for 2021-22. She previously served as Board Secretary.
The Charlotte Ballet provides nationally recognized programming, education and outreach and dance training. The company of 28 professional dancers, who make Charlotte their home, annually present six performance series in Charlotte typically spanning from October to May. With an international roster of choreographers, Charlotte Ballet is focused on bringing new works to Charlotte and the rest of the world.
After having the 2020 season cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Charlotte Ballet has announced its 50th Anniversary Season for 2021-22.
Claire Rauscher has more than 25 years of white collar criminal defense experience, having tried numerous cases, negotiated favorable resolutions and obtained dismissals. She represents companies in grand jury investigations and related enforcement proceedings as well as witnesses and individual targets. In addition, Claire leads corporate internal investigations and provides compliance guidance in such areas as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), anti-trust, government contracts, qui tam and false claims matters.
