Womble Bond Dickinson (US) Partner Joe Whitley will speak at the 10th Annual London White Collar Crime Institute, presented by the American Bar Association’s Criminal Justice Section. The event takes place Oct. 10-11 in London.

Whitley will serve as a panelist for a “Investigation and Trial: A Hypothetical Fact Pattern with Expert Analysis”. The panelists will analyze a complex international investigation that results in an indictment, trial and conviction. These seasoned lawyers will discuss how they would approach different aspects of the fact pattern and how expert consultants can help shape the investigation and approach. 

Joining Whitley in the discussion will be Foley & Lardner Partner Pamela Johnston and Charles River Associates VP Margaret “Peggy” Daley. Audrey Byrne, a Partner with McCann Fitzgerald in Dublin, will moderate.

Whitley previously served as Acting Associate Attorney General in the U.S Department of Justice as well as the first General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He leads the WBD (US) White-Collar Defense, Investigations, and Regulatory Enforcement Team.
