Womble Bond Dickinson has been nominated for two major LexisNexis Legal Awards.

The firm has been shortlisted for the Award for Business Development for the successful launch of the new Womble Bond Dickinson brand in just five months. Womble Bond Dickinson formed in 2017 from the combination of UK law firm Bond Dickinson and US law firm Womble Carlyle.

In addition, Womble Bond Dickinson (UK) LLP was nominated for the LexisNexis Legal PR and Media Comms Award in recognition of its national campaign research on collaborative innovation entitled “Close Encounters: The Power of Collaborative Innovation”.

This follows four recent nominations for the Managing Partners' Forum awards, which included Best Thought Leadership, also for the collaborative innovation report, and Best Implementation of Systems or Technology for the roll-out of a new CRM system, OnePlace.

David Craigen, Business Development Director at Womble Bond Dickinson (UK) LLP, said: “We're absolutely delighted to have been nominated for a further two awards. 2017 was a year of transformational change for the firm and these nominations are a tribute to the hard work and dedication of our team.”

The LexisNexis Legal Awards recognize and celebrate excellence and innovation across the legal sector. The award ceremony, which takes place on March 15 in London, will bring over 50 finalists across 16 categories.
