GREENSBORO, N.C.—ArtsGreensboro held its first-ever Arts Giving Day on June 21, and Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Jill White discussed the fundraising campaign with the Greensboro News & Record.

White, a lawyer in the firm’s Greensboro office, and her husband, Thomas White, are the 2018 Co-Chairs of ArtsGreensboro’s Annual Arts Fund Campaign. The goal of the Annual Community-wide Campaign for the Arts is to raise $1 million to support more than 50 arts-related organizations, schools and projects. On Arts Giving Day, organizers hoped to raise $24,000 in 24 hours.

“We want to see ArtsGreensboro and all of our local arts organizations and our local artists supported,” White told the News & Record. She recently was named Chair-Elect of the Board of Directors for ArtsGreensboro.
