In the global business environment, companies that stand still get left behind.

Womble Bond Dickinson’s leadership knows that new ideas and different approaches are necessary to drive the firm forward. So once again, attorneys and staff in both the UK and US are joining together for International Innovation Week, which takes place March 18-22.

This year’s Womble Bond Dickinson Innovation Week will feature two guest speakers at the leading edges of their professions.

On Monday, March 18, Dr. Hannah Fry will speak on “How to be Human in the Age of the Machine.” Dr. Fry is an Associate Professor in the Mathematics of Cities at the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis at University College London. Her work involves the application of mathematics to studying patterns of human behavior, and she is a popular speaker and best-selling author.

Then, on Friday March 22, futurist Michael Rogers will speak on “The Virtualization of the World” with a focus on the implications for law firms as more of what they do moves into cyberspace. Rogers brings a background in investigative journalism and is a frequent speaker on how technology, demographics, culture and economics will create change in the future.

Womble Bond Dickinson’s International Innovation Week also will include time for team members to collaborate and discuss ways to bring about change that is beneficial to the firm and its clients.
