Womble Bond Dickinson, with support from Guyer & Regules, a blue-chip global law firm based in Uruguay, and the Uruguayan Chamber of Construction, presented a March 30 virtual event on “Winning Work in the U.S.: Navigating the New US Infrastructure Bill.”
Signed into law in Nov. 2021, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act provides $1.2 trillion in federal infrastructure investment, including providing money for roads, airports, bridges, public transportation, water systems, rail, power infrastructure, broadband and more. The Act provides tremendous opportunities for companies in a wide range of sectors, including businesses looking to expand operations into the US.
This presentation was led by Womble Bond Dickinson attorneys José Luis Vittor, Alan Enslen and Caroline Frey and addressed expansion opportunities in the US for Uruguayan companies.
