Due to the nature of Rimm’s practice, many of his most successful matters have not resulted in public charges and remain confidential. In 2021, he defended the most high-profile federal criminal case in New Jersey, securing a favorable resolution for the former Mayor of Atlantic City. Also in 2021, Rimm secured the dismissal of a civil lawsuit against Garmin International, Inc. filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Among his high-profile accomplishments at trial, Rimm’s victory in Leser v. U.S. Bank National Association (U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York) was inducted into the New York Law Journal Verdicts Hall of Fame as the “Third Highest Contracts Verdict” (New York's Highest-Ranking Verdicts from 2000 to 2018).

Rimm serves as the Assistant Secretary for the Federal Bar Foundation and is a member of the Federal Bar Council. He also is a member of the Second Circuit’s Civic Education & Public Engagement Committee, following appointment by former Chief Judge Robert A. Katzmann, and previously served on the Second Circuit’s Judicial Conference Planning & Programming Committee. He joins Womble from the New York office of an international law firm.

Rimm received his J.D. from Yale Law School and his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a former law clerk to Judge Victor Marrero of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Upon completion of his clerkship, he served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, where he personally handled and led criminal investigations and prosecutions, conducted trials in federal court to jury verdict and handled criminal appeals.
