Tara Cho Discusses “Digitization, Automation and Other Legal Tech” at NCBA Business Law Section Event
Feb 13 2025
Womble Bond Dickinson Partner Tara Cho recently spoke on “Digitization, Automation and Other Legal Tech: What Now?” She was joined in the presentation by Amy Worley of BRG LLC.
As the business world becomes digitized and organizations must adapt to new technologies, AI, and other cost-saving innovations, there are also novel considerations for legal and business risk. Cho and Worley discussed how to leverage new tech and the efficiencies it affords while mitigating potential risk and compliance obligations.
Their presentation was part of the North Carolina Bar Association’s 2025 Business Law Section Program, held February 6-7, in Raleigh N.C. The theme of this year’s program was “Bringing the Business Out of the Basement: How To Help Clients Grow”. Womble Bond Dickinson Partner David Broughton chairs the NCBA’s Business Law Section.
Cho chairs Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP’s Privacy and Cybersecurity Team. Her practice is dedicated to counseling clients on privacy and data security issues across industries such as technology, retail, logistics, e-commerce, energy and critical infrastructure, healthcare/healthtech and life sciences.
