Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Jimmy Quander recently learned that Wake Forest University School of Law’s Black Students Law Association (BLSA) planned to rename their moot court team.

The new name? The James “Jimmy” Quander Moot Court Team!

Quander was chosen for this honor in recognition of his significant contributions while a student at Wake Forest University, as well as his outstanding achievements throughout his legal career. While at Wake Forest, Quander was President of the BLSA and received the “Best Brief” award at the National Frederick Douglas Moot Court Competition.

He was officially recognized at the BLSA Banquet on April 5. Attorneys from Womble Bond Dickinson’s Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and Charlotte offices were on hand to celebrate with Jimmy.
