RALEIGH, N.C.—Womble Carlyle has long been a supporter of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. That tradition of support continued on Saturday, Feb. 4th, as a team of 24 attorneys, staff and family members from the Raleigh and RTP offices spent the day volunteering at the food bank.

Attorney Anna Short-Slightom organized the firm’s volunteer effort.


The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina fights hunger in 34 counties. The Food Bank serves a network of more than 800 partner agencies such as soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and programs for children and adults. In fiscal year 2015-2016, the Food Bank distributed more than 64.4 million pounds of food and non-food essentials through its partner agencies.
