ATLANTA—Today, CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Atlanta is one of the region’s leading professional organizations. In the organization’s early years, however, members struggled for respect and acceptance. But they persevered, stuck together and, eventually, built CREW Atlanta into the institution it is today.

Womble Carlyle attorney Carolyn Wilson was one of those women who helped build CREW Atlanta, as both a long-time member and a former President of the organization. She and other CREW Atlanta contributors recently took part in a video to commemorate the organization’s 35th anniversary.

In 2015, Wilson was named an inaugural member of the CREW Atlanta Hall of Fame.

CREW Atlanta also celebrated its 35th anniversary with an April 27 gala and silent auction benefiting the Atlanta Women’s Foundation and the Diane Cox/CREW Atlanta Scholarship Fund. Wilson, Nellie Shipley Sullivan and Michael Sullivan represented Womble Carlyle at the event.
