Veteran life insurance and ERISA/financial services litigation attorneys Elizabeth (Lisa) Bondurant, Aaron Pohlmann and Nikole Crow have joined Womble Carlyle’s Atlanta office.

Combined, Bondurant, Pohlmann and Crow have more than 50 years of experience representing insurance companies, financial institutions, employers, ERISA plan fiduciaries, third-party administrators and managed healthcare entities in complex cases involving the following issues

  • ERISA, with Bondurant’s team litigating many major ERISA cases in the 11th Circuit
  • RICO
  • Life, health, disability, and accidental death benefits
  • Broker, producer and agent disputes and
  • Managed care issues

Bondurant’s professional leadership includes formerly serving as Chair of DRI’s Life, Health, and Disability Committee as well as the Life Insurance Committee of the American Bar Association’s Tort and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS). She is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel and the Association of Life Insurance Counsel.

Pohlmann is the former chair of the ABA TIPS Life Insurance Law Committee, is a Vice-Chair of the TIPS Employee Benefits Committee and is immediate past Editor-in-Chief of the ABA TIPS TortSource periodical.
