Aaron Pohlmann is a business litigator focusing his practice in the areas of ERISA, employee benefits, employment, and life, health, and disability insurance litigation. Since completing a federal judicial clerkship, Aaron has represented ERISA plan fiduciaries, insurers, third-party administrators, and employers in a wide variety of litigation.

Aaron has extensive experience in Georgia federal and state courts, and regularly manages matters in Alabama, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia courts. Aaron is a six-time contributing author to ERISA Survey of Federal Circuits (American Bar Association, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2012, 2014, 2016), and has written numerous articles on ERISA and Life, Health, and Disability litigation in various publications of the ABA and the Defense Research Institute.

Aaron has organized and moderated ABA continuing legal education seminars in the areas of HIPAA compliance and health insurance litigation, and was the program chair for the 37th Annual TIPS Midwinter Symposium on Life, Health, and Disability Insurance, Insurance Regulation, Employee Benefits, and Reinsurance.
