WINSTON SALEM, NC—Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Mark J. Vaders has been appointed President of the Piedmont Wind Symphony (PWS) Board of Directors.

Mark’s practice focuses on providing scientific and legal solutions to clients whose consumer products are regulated by the FDA or other agencies at the federal or state levels. He also serves as an in-house resource on the science related to vapor/e-cigarettes and other modern nicotine products. Before starting his law practice, Mark worked in the genomics services industry supporting global clinical trials in a GLP/GMP-compliant environment.

The Piedmont Wind Symphony was founded in 1990 and employs high caliber professional musicians, many of whom hold masters and doctorate degrees in music, and have extensive performing experience both regionally and abroad. PWS musicians are also active as educators at all levels, from private lessons and public/private schools to colleges. The mission of PWS is to provide excellence in the performance of symphonic music for the broadest audience possible while giving an opportunity to musicians to perform traditional and contemporary music.
