Womble Bond Dickinson sponsored at the Virtuoso Circle level Metamorphosis, an all-school student showcase to support the Oakland School for the Arts (“OSA”), and represented by Partners Lisa Moyles and Carrie Richey.

OSA is a tuition-free public charter school located in Uptown Oakland. The school prepares its graduates for college and careers in their chosen field through specialized and innovative arts education. Students study in one of 10 arts and career pathways, ranging from audio production and engineering to fashion design to instrumental music.

The 1st annual Artist Impact Awards were presented to “Sheila E.” Escovedo (the “Queen of Percussion” born in Oakland) and Zendaya Coleman (actress and singer, born in Oakland and graduate of OSA), among others.

In addition to serving as learning opportunities for students, Metamorphosis and other events raise money to help OSA offer its wide range of arts-based activities. Womble Bond Dickinson is a proud sponsor of Metamorphosis 2024.
