Womble Bond Dickinson was a proud sponsor of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys (ACMA) 2025 Annual Meeting, which took place October 9–11 at the La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas. The firm was represented by five partners: Elizabeth Lee (Washington, DC), John Rawicz (Phoenix), Chad Brown (Winston-Salem), Paul Fogleman (Raleigh), and Daniel Orvin (Charleston).

Elizabeth Lee delivered a presentation titled “Government Downsizing and the ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’: Impacts of Federal Policies on Real Estate.” Lee recently concluded her term as Secretary of ACMA and was elected Treasurer for a one-year term. She is scheduled to assume the role of ACMA President in Fall 2027.

Paul Fogleman and Amy Clayton (who was not in attendance) were inducted as new ACMA Fellows, while Chad Brown was appointed Co-Chair of the Title Insurance Committee.
