Welcome Juliska! Tableware Maker Relocates to Charleston Area

CHARLESTON, SC—Congratulations to Juliska! The Womble Bond Dickinson client and high-end European tableware brand recently announced plans to relocate its headquarters and distribution center to the Charleston area from Connecticut. It is estimated that the project will bring at least 50 new full-time jobs to South Carolina.

The Womble Bond Dickinson team of attorneys Stephanie Few and Matt Orville counseled Juliska in the relocation, including helping the company negotiate and secure state and local economic development incentives.

The relocation will take place in late 2020 and will include a nearly $2 million investment by the company in the facility. The facility, located on Palmetto Commerce Parkway in North Charleston, will feature corporate offices, a distribution center, a design and photo studio and a factory outlet store.

Founded in 2001, Juliska specializes in creating artisanal stoneware and mouth-blown glass. With dinnerware, glassware, flatware and serving pieces, Juliska has more than 900 products available.
