On Thursday, October 23rd, over 100 basketball fans and ACC enthusiasts gathered at the iconic Angus Barn for our annual Countdown to ACC Tip-Off Luncheon—a celebration of the upcoming college basketball season and the rich legacy of the Atlantic Coast Conference.  The event was hosted by the Raleigh and RTP attorneys.  

Guests were treated to a dynamic and insightful panel discussion featuring former ACC standouts Marcus Ginyard (UNC 2010), Tyler Thornton (Duke 2014 and current Assistant Coach), and Dereck Whittenburg (NCSU '83). The conversation was expertly moderated by award-winning sports journalist Dwayne Ballen, who guided the panel through a lively exchange of predictions, behind-the-scenes stories, and what to watch for in the season ahead.

From bold forecasts to nostalgic reflections, the panel delivered a memorable experience that left attendees energized and excited for tip-off. The event offered a unique opportunity to connect with fellow fans, hear from ACC legends, and celebrate the spirit of college basketball.
