James Weatherholtz Elected to DRI National Directors Board

Womble Bond Dickinson Partner James Weatherholtz has been elected as National Director of DRI, the Association of Lawyers Defending Business.
The election of new National Directors took place at the 2025 DRI Annual Meeting, held October 15-17 in Chicago. Each of the four new National Directors will serve a three-year term.
“James Weatherholtz has been an active member in the civil defense community, I look forward to serving on the Board of DRI with him for the next three years. His talents will be well received as a National Director with DRI, the Association of Lawyers Defending Business,” said attorney David A. Anderson of Richardson, Plowden & Robinson, P.A., who announced his new position at the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorney Annual Meeting. Anderson is a Past President of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorney Association and the DRI Mid-Atlantic Regional Director.
DRI is the largest international membership organization of attorneys defending the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation. Membership in DRI provides access to resources and tools for attorneys who strive to provide high-quality, balanced, and excellent service to their clients and corporations.
James Weatherholtz has more than 25 years of experience in construction and product liability litigation. He has served as Chair of the South Carolina Construction Law Section, Chair of the DRI Product Liability Committee (the largest committee within the organization), and a member of the DRI Law Institute.
