Jason Marshall to Moderate Panel Discussion on “Improving Wholesale & Retail Market Alignment” at New England Energy Summit

On December 2, Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Jason Marshall will speak at the New England Energy Summit in Boston. This annual event brings together industry leaders and influential stakeholders, including power generators, transmission developers, clean energy companies, grid operators, and state officials.

Marshall will moderate a panel on “Improving Wholesale & Retail Market Alignment.” The discussion will address the intersection of the wholesale and retail electricity market.

He will be joined in the conversation by NRG VP of Regulatory Affairs Travis Kavulla, Massachusetts DPU Chair Jeremy McDiarmid, Energy and Environmental Economics (E3) Director Liz Mettetal, and RAR Strategies Owner Robert Rio.

Alex Fitzsimmons, Acting Undersecretary of the U.S. Department of Energy, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s New England Energy Summit. The event will also feature a CEO Roundtable featuring key executives represent ting major energy companies.

Jason Marshall is an energy and regulatory attorney with more than 20 years of experience advising on complex legal, policy, and infrastructure matters. He previously served as Deputy Secretary and Special Counsel at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy & Environmental Affairs, where he led the Commonwealth’s federal and regional energy strategy and initiatives.
